I will overwhelm 'legitimate fighter' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua
The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former twice unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and called him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, at the same time, criticized British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."

Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and asserted he would stop the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
