Approximately 25,000 households in Queensland's southeast woke up without power on Monday's dawn after intense storm systems impacted the area, producing wind gusts topping over 100 km/h.
Large Hailstones and Broad Impact
Residents reported giant hailstones as large as 7 centimeters in particular locations. The Bureau of Meteorology announced that multiple regions across Queensland had been impacted by large hailstones.
